Leo Lio, what are you talking about? App works excellently, running my device, for several days now, and exporting video. One bug is that while the app passcode works as expected, when the monitor device is also passcode protected, the dialog retains the previously entered passcode, chosing "ok" gives access.

Do not purchase this app. It does not connect to your other devices! The screen does not remain darkened when set to do so. The instructions are vague. Apple needs to start issuing refunds for ineffective apps like this one!

Works locally, but the internet connect ability rarely works and the microphone ability rarely works. I have emailed the developer but have not received a reply. I would recommend looking for something different.

This WAS a great app. Updating to iOS 10 resulted in the app providing no sound for three different devices I tried. There have been no updates for a long time.

Its not work over cellular network.

ive had this app for over a year now & cant love it more than i already do. ive never used it as a baby monitor. however its 1 handy tool coupled with my ipad. looking behind things, under things & around corners where its a small dark area that only a phone could get its eye (camera) into. i have found so many uses for this app its just amazing.

I use this app after sucking leaves and debris out of my 2nd story gutters. I placed one iPod Touch 4g (as camera) inside armband holder and attached it atop same 19ft pvc pipe used to vacuum gutters. I then attached 2nd iPod Touch 4g inside armband holder near bottom to view inside of gutters. Works great.

Live viewing through a browser works well, live view through app only displays a blank screen with audio. Mail notifications not consistent and tend not to work. Storage of event videos and transfer of video to monitoring device is also intermittent with the tendency not to work. Purchased the OSX app and IOS app. I’m checking daily for updates because I would like the product if it was reliable.

Works well. Just need to define the wifi-router at home and then the app works fine.

Presence was easy to use and I guess I thought this app would be the same but I cant get the camera to stay in camera mood - it goes to sleep and wakes up as a monitor.

Maybe someone can help me with this but with my iPad at home and my iPhone on LTE I cant view the camera through the app. It works great while Im home to monitor from the other room but I really want it for when Im not home. If I can figure this out Ill increase my rating to 4-5 stars. Right now Im just not there yet. Also, as a suggestion it would be great to have two way audio through the app. Most inexpensive wifi security cameras have that feature included.

This app is a good idea, but unfortunately it seems as though it must be running and open on both devices (i.e. it doesnt seem to be able to operate in the background) for it to function. Additionally, also disappointing was the very poor picture quality even over a local network. It works, but if you want real surveillance, youre probably better off just hooking up a simple web cam.

Would be nice if you can change the settings remotely.

This air beam app is the best so far in three plus hours of searching....I tests other apps that failed or do not meet what I needed! Perfect! Time and date stamp remains intact within the image of video!

UPDATE: Its been a couple of years now and the Airbeam remains to be my faviorite home monitoring app. Recently I purchased a Motrr Galileo. The combination works great. But there are some bugs though with the current version: 1) The Airbeam camera on Galileo sometimes would start to record when it was not expected to (compared to when used without the Galileo). 2) Intermittently, tapping/swipping the Airbeam monitor screen did not move the Galileo. Sometimes disconnect from and reconnect to the Airbeam camera fix it. Sometimes it required a restart of the Airbeam camera. 3) The Airbeam became less stable with the Galileo. Ive had an Airbeam camera crash within a days operation. Some times the Airbeam camera displayed an info box saying connection to server was interrupted. At that point, I can still connect to the Airbeam camera. But on the Airbeam monitor it just display a black screen (no video). It would then require a restart of the Airbeam camera. I also have some suggestions on the features: A) Please add a setting to allow Airbeam to start into the camera mode directly. This is useful if a power outage lasted longer than what the battery can sustain. When power restored, one could have configured the iOS Guided Access to automatically boot the iPhone into Airbeam camera mode unattended, to continue the monitoring without human intervention on the Airbeam camera. B) Please separte the settings for remote Airbeam monitor access password and the camera mode lock screen password protection. I think for security reasons, one would always want to have the remote camera access password protection but not necessarily the camera mode lock screen password, as the camera usually is in a secured location (at home) already. All in all, for unattended uses of the Airbeam, I believe it is of imparative importance that special care should be given to continued "unattended" operations. I had seen some info box pop up on the camera and require a user to click the "OK" button. Thanks for the good work! ----- Original Review ----- Everything worked as it should. Now I can put my old 3GS (2 of them) to good use. The automatic port forwarding config is a big plus. All I need to do before going out is to note the external IP address and the port number they use. Compared to other similar apps that use external servers for finding the cameras over the Internet, Id rather not to rely on someone elses server. Now that Ive used it several time while I am out. The more I used it, the more I like it! I can even start/stop detection recording remotely, at any time. This is just perfect!

Seriously it never works. From freezing and having to restart to shutting off after a few minutes. Really bummed :(

Stable operation and useful functions. Just missing the capability to remote zoom.
